The 20′ Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman is a popular Gorges Boatworks project – the 5th one we have done in fact – and for good reason. The 20′ Cape Fisherman features a shallow draft and a solid ride, allowing you to fish as easily in 2′ as in 200′.
This particular boat has been the company’s flagship for the last two years and in 2015 had a plethora of work done and upgrades installed including a new paint inside and out, new wiring, new rigging, new SeaStar BayStar hydraulic steering, Simrad NSS7, SonicHub with 800w amp and 4 JL Audio speakers. For the fisherman, this boat features an Airmar B60 through-hull transducer and a LSS2HD side-scan sonar.
She is powered by a 2015 Mercury 150 four-stroke with less than 250 hours and over 4 years of warranty remaining. This set-up yields a cruise of over 4mpg at almost 30mph with 3 adults and a fishing load.
The bottom has not been painted with epoxy barrier coat or anti-fouling paint so you can choose which option works best for you!
